Canon announces EOS-1D Mark III

Canon has taken the wraps off their next 1-series digital SLR. The EOS-1D Mark III is a 10.08 million image pixel, 10 fps digital SLR that offers so many improvements over the model it replaces that it's best to describe it as a new-from-the-ground-up camera. Canon has also announced the EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM lens, Speedlite 580EX II flash and Wireless File Transmitter WFT-E2/E2A.

Best of all, the price is set at only US$3,999 (S$6,120 approx.) I think this is in the affordable range given the features of the camera. Wonder what Canon Singapore will market it at!
