hi,

i am planning to buy a 256mb CF for my Canon A40. Can the camera support the 256mb CF card?? or 128mb the max?

thanks...

I think that as long as the CF card is in the TypeI format, it shldn't be a problem. ANyway, I did use a Ridata 256 on the A40 b4.. no porblem.

Yes. 256mb CF Type I can be use on the A40.

thanks a ton guys... i will go ahead as intended to get the
256mb CF...
;)

just asking, wat tpye of brand of CF is good for A60, A40 and A70? i'm referring to 256mb ... and how much? thanks

Most important is Type 1 Compact Flash.
Popular brands are Ridata, Transcend and Hagiwara.
256MB is round $100 to $130 depends on speed.
