Hi All Expert,

I got my first DSLR not too long ago
i was just thinking when i on my air-con at nite it is very cold and in the morning when i leave house, obviously i will off it, but does it affect the lenses or the condition of the camera? i have not get a dry box, any reccommendation what kind to buy and whats the price range?

THANX!!!!

no affect.

buy a digicab 36L one at $99.

still cheaper then having fungus growing on your lens coating.

i see, okie i will invest in that soon, maybe next mth since i spent so much this month.
Qns, where can i learn how about aperture and shutter how they work hand in hand and other technical tips i can get for lightings and close up view and etc?

currently using a LOCK 'n LOCK as dry box with silica gel...works fine with me though...

Hi guys, i realise last night when i am taking close up shots using my 15-55mm lense of my olympus E500, it seems like if the camera cant get a focus because i am too close it will produce a "tick tick" sound, is it normal or my camera is having problem?:bigeyes:

"tick tick" = Normal

"eeeek..baaang..craaaak..booom.." = NOT Normal....

HAHAHA, OIC, so i can say that it is because the camera couldnt focus thats why it is have the tick tick sound.
