Mmm, friend going to Vietnam for six months working trip.
Not very tech savvy lady but will use camera for documentation
for her life there. (bringing notebook to transfer file)

I have shortlisted Sony W5, Panasonic FX8, and Fuji F10
where

sony:
cheapest, (ok slightly cheaper than FX8)
good battery life,
fast operation

Pana:
slim, best form factor,
OIS
cheapest media (SD card)

Fuji:
Best pic quality in indoor
powerful battery
very fast operation

Any suggestions

only thing about fuji is the xd card... (btw not sure if the Fuji F10 uses which card)

still need to get another dedicated reader for the xd card...

it uses xD

i have the sony W1.... i think the sony W5 is the improved version of the W1....
it takes good pics and has video with sound as well.....
start up time is fast and allows for some manual settings....

only drawback i can see is the expensive memory sticks....

Pana FX8. Cheap media as compared to the rest.

bought a fx8, ok quality, but sucks on low light, will have a lot of noise, even in iso 80..

1)fuji F10 - S$535 (alan photo)
