You picked a nice spot - the curve in the road both makes it more interesting, and I guess causes the cars to brake and give more intense red light trails.

Too bad about the lamp post in the foreground, but that can't be helped.

EXIF on flickr says 7.1 seconds @ f/13 though (not 30 @ f/11).

Which lens did you use? Nikon 50mm f/1.8? Just wondering because of the starburst. Personally I think a 6 pointed starburst pattern looks more attractive (which requires a lens with a 6 blade diaphragm I think). The 14 point looks a little too busy. Small quibble.

took a few shots...
didnt realise it was the 7 seconds shutter...

used the Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8
cant help bout the starbust...
high vantage point was taken on top of stevens rd flyover
u can park ur car at marymount rd or
take bus and drop at whitley npp bustop...
need to walk up the fly over to reach the pt...
