Hmmm... 2 things from me, hope you don mind...
1. Crop away distractors like the red ball, the white covering plate and the circular white thing on the left. Give the subject the more focus.
2. The whitish 'foam' on the tile near the dog's mouth... is quite uncomfortable to me. Looks like the beagle has just vomitted and ,errrr ...., therefore did not appear to me that it was sleeping but .... (watch to much crime shows - apologies in advance).

Get him away from the drain and white stuff. He seems to be losing bodily fluids. Getting closer to the dog's level would probably give you a much more interesting pic.
