Hi,

I recently developed some 120mm Delta 400.

Did the following:

8 mins DDX (1+4) at 20degs
Agitation every 2 mins for 5 secs

1 min Stopper
Agitation 1 min

8 min Fixer
I only agitated once or twice during the 8 mins.

I ended up with negatives that is browner on the bottom and more gray at the top. As a result when i see my shots, half is with a brownish tint.

Is this because I did not agitate the fixer enough?

It is consistent for two rolls in a row.

Thanks!

Rgds,
Larry

re fix again...fixer might b exhausted

Fixer don't really have to agitate much. I usually re-use about 4-5 full tanks of film then throw away and mix up a fresh batch of fixer. I always open the tank at the end of fixing stage to check if the negs are cloudy, because if so I just pour it a bit more fixer, the negs should be clear by 1-2 mins.

Thanks guys. Will try it out and hopefully solve the problem.

Cheers!
