10 men, not 9. 2nd half, yeah, England looked more tired and haphazard. Maybe it's the heat? Let's just say the Brazilian were more creative and "flowing" in their play. Sometimes 1 man down doesn't mean you're at a complete disadvantage. All the more you'll want to defend and attack and be extremely cautious. Brazil did well in that sense.

As Ian said it, hopefully, it's England 2006. This is a young team, other than Seaman and Sherringham (average age 23-25?) and by 2006, they should have more experience and better skills.

Germany sucks full-time. Boring game. Given other stronger teams against them, they'd be a gonner. Lucky them to have met the easier teams like Saudis and USA.

Well, this is the furthest they have gotten in a VERY long time...maybe if they had Survivor: Africa winner Ethan on the team
