I'm actually heading back to Japan on Thursday and will be there during this time to celebrate the festival with my partners family. It seems many of your pictures are of the "Natsu matsuri" (summer festival) during which the many "Omikoshi" are paraded through the streets as part of the celebration. It is a lovely time of year with many symbolic festivals. Will post some pics when I get back!

this event was held in d stadium, with food stall, dance and drum performance on d stage, it is my first time experience and I enjoy to mood very much.
