Chanced upon this exhibition by this Vietnamese American photographer, had a good chat with the photographer himself, and was impressed by his simplicity and approach to life and photography. There's a calmness about his photographs that takes one away from this hectic city.

Excerpts from the notes :
"This exhibition is the accumulation of 3 years of travel from Tibet across Thaland to China and Singapore, where he now works.

His signature ability to capture a special moment in tme moves up a level wiht a maturing eye that wants you to be aware of the precious moments of "now", the simple free space of those who live away form our busy and material world. Experience spiritual calmness captured in a close up face; see the future and potential of a human through the eyes of a child's gaze; the beauty of remote villages and distant landscapes; and the playful side of those who have chosen to walk the spiritual path..."

The exhibition consists of 16 photographs in blue and more than 50 photographs in black and white.

check it out if you do have time..

The exhibition has been extended till the end of year i.e. End of December 2009
