Well, if you are an active birder or a nature lover, please note that there are poachers active in the Tampines area (forest fragment near Tampines North Primary School).
I went on a stroll/photography jaunt this morning (around 10am) and apparently startled three men with cages. One ah-pek was so rattled that he went forward to grab a Spotted Dove (used as a lure). His bicycle was covered in army camouflage patterns. Up front, there were two men, obviously part of the illicit group.
They were so startled and unnerved by my presence that they left soon after. But they would be back, I know it.
I have already informed AVA and my MP.
So, if you are part of any volunteer group, spread the word.
