Just uploaded the final patch of photos to my Zenfolio Site last night to make it an even 100 (1 photo for every km of the race). Here are some highlights:

The legendary Tinker Juarez (Mens Solo Champion), it's an eye opener seeing him blaze through the trails effortlessly:

Yup. The whole MTB community is all excited over him. Seeing him blazing the trail here is fantastic. I'm glad I went that day.

I already put up 100 pics in my gallery below. I had 2 pics of your partner (bib 113). I can't remember the other 113 though. Sorry.

Hellow folks,

I know some of you did a fine job taking photos of Tinker Juarez and other bikers at the Bike Asia 2008.

Well this year, Tinker is back to race in this year's 2nd edition of the 100km race, only this time it's gonna be a night mountainbike marathon so night sports photography will be a real challenge!

There will be a host of day-time events like an off-road duathlon, a short track race and speed bike trials...plus the kiddy race. Not forgetting that this time, a rock concert will feature bands playing while the marathon bikers toil away on the trails!

It's all happening at the Tampines Mountainbike Trail on 28 Feb - 1 March 2009.

Time to bring out the flash!
 

this time round will be night race from 5pm to 1am, if i remember correctly...anyone taking part?
 

night race.. emm.. is flash allow ? i guess not, coz will temp. "blind" the racers... :confused::cool:
i checked official site but did not have the answer... anyone out there know about the photography policy ?? Please advice. Thanks.

just use remote flash.
 

Will we be allowed to stand around the trails, or probably be shooed away?
