From the angle of the photos, you should be one of the official photographers (OP), if I guess correctly.
For this photo, you should not cut off his other leg.
As the OP, (or if you are one of them), your photos should be better than the rest.
I was there too, but I was shooting from behind the barricade, which is very far away.
Sorry to say, as the OP (if you are one), your photos are below average. :(:thumbsd:

hi sm489,
i guess u could call me one of the 'op', was helping a friend out.
yea i know im supposed to get better pics, wasnt very happy with the pics too.

what i felt was that
due to the angle in front, i believe that a tilt was inevitable in all my shots.
the speakers setup in front also didnt allow me to get their shoes in (full body shot).
plus, the stars were looking at the fans direction almost all the time, so i believe those with a ladder had better shots instead.

mind commenting on where else i went wrong?

i hope these doesnt come across as excuses, but rather as questions, because i really wanna know where i screwed up and can improve from cos its really my first time in front of the barricade.

thanks so much!

Hi

Personally when i shoot portraits of people on stage, I will try to avoid having shadows behind the stars on stage as it is rather distracting. Many of your shots have that. It could be due to two reasons. One is your angle of flash is wrong, or could be you took from the wrong angle (having the lightsource behind you).

However, i do not know of how limited space you have and so this comment might be a little unfair. Yup!! Just my 2 cents.
