hmm that time i go other shops also no free album... but i ask then they gave me... somemore mine only 25c per piece no service charge... the photos quite ok lah.. at the clementi no. 1 color centre (not double one) think it's e cheapest there...
 

i think it isn't fair to pass judgement based on a 1 sided story.it is quite unbelievable some business owner will take a file at throw at the guy.
For all u know,the oster might even be a business rival trying all sorts or despicable ways to get the accused out of business.

To ask politely and expect to get it is Nonsense,i been praying nicely to God for ToTo and 4Ds but still kena rejected. :bsmilie:
 

Let's all cool down before more throw stones at the poor chap.

I've been a long time customer of the now defunct Knight Photo and have experienced excellent service from Taiten. Appart from receiving a 10% discount for every 4R print at 40 cents, I get a photo album for prints exceeding 20 pcs. I believe busycheesy has received the same from Taiten, which is why he asked for the photo album. Going out of one's way to get one is cheapskate, but since he has been receiving one for his prints, I see no wrong in him asking for it.

Some of the comments directed at busycheesy was uncalled for and downright nasty, especially when they are not aware of how the service levels differ between Knight Photo and Digital Colours.

y did knight's photo still close down since the service so good ?

Wonder how many will stick with their labs giving them good service when another lab start offering lower price with same service standards..

While it's not fair to expect the same treatment from two different managements, all he did was ask for one. If he had demanded for one then it's a different story.

Knight Photo sold the business as the owner had other business interests that will take him away from Singapore that will prevent him from attending to the day-to-day operations of the shop.

By the way, your equation of 'Service Good = Good Business' goes not always hold true. Haven't you seen hawkers with attitudes from hell but there's always an unending queue of customers?

but normally it is true tt when its discounted, u will recieve no albums...
but again.. the guy was deft rude...

recently i developed 500++ wedding pics....
last time when i asked them abt discounted thingy.. they say 500 pics above will be $0.25. so happily i brought 500++ pics down..

So one of the staff said.. we dun have the 25 cents term... *sad*
but i can give u 5% off.. Hahaha.. Why not?

It takes both hand to clap.. afterall.. i recently throw all my assignments there for prints. they are really nice....

Regardless of the freebies issue there is no cause for the guy to throw the file at this guy.


I throw my negatives at the boss in the Fuji lab when I go for printing.

come to think about it... you're right!
most stories are exagerated anyways... for the sake of spicing it up.

if someone throws something at you and you have no reaction, you're not functioning properly.

or it could be that the file appeared to have been thrown at him, BUT landed short and fell on top of the counter instead and never even came close to hitting the customer. :bsmilie:
