Best Delicated Color Printer

I am looking for a 'best' home Photo Color Printer to review some selected photos for future enlargement. My budget is up to S$1,000. Printing size up to A4 is good enough for the color review. I have a Canon Selphy photo printer but color quality is below my expectation.

My criteria for the printer is solely on true color reproduction, a broad spectrum of color bands is important. All other features of the printer is not important.

Any recommendation?

if print longevity is not an issue, maybe you can try the canon pixma printers as well.

the R800 tho it's the best in my opinion is an old model which has been discontinued and replaced with a larger format (A3+) printer. There doesnt seem to be another A4 printer that uses that specific inkset, so I guess a better choice will be to look around in the 2nd hand market.
