Calling all nature shooters! Mandai Orchid Garden (an orchid garden located near the Singapore Zoo) will be holding a nature photo competition on their ground for the month of June. Here's your chance to portray nature thru your lens and win attractive prizes! The details are found below.

General Rules & Regulations
- The contest is open to all except employees of Singapore Orchids Pte Ltd and Ecoflora (S) Pte Ltd.
- The contest is divided into two categories:
- The beauty of nature
- The vintage orchid garden
- Participants not limited to the number of entries/prints they can submit. A S$10.00 entry fee will be levied on a per entry/print basis. Payment mode can be by cash or cheque made payable to Singapore Orchids Pte Ltd. (50% of the total proceeds will be donated to the Wildlife Conservation Society)
- Each participant is limited to winning only one prize and only in one category.
- Entries will be judged according to the following:
- Relevance to the theme
- Creativity
- Overall technical quality (exposure sharpness, etc.)
- All photographs submitted can be in color, monochrome or a combination of both.
- Entry forms must be completed in a legible manner. Any ineligible entry form will be disqualified from entry.
- Any photograph submitted that has previously won a prize in any national or international competition will be disqualified.
- The organizer will handle all entries with care. However, the organizer is not held responsible for any damage or loss of entries.
- All entries will remain the property of the participants.
- The organizer will retain the right to permanently display the winning entries of each category within the garden.
- The decision of the judges is final, and no further correspondence will be entertained.

Submission of Entry
- Participants must submit their prints in 8R or Super 8R size with accompanying entry form for each print. All entries must be submitted together with Mandai Orchid Garden admission ticket dated between 11 June to 27 Jun 2005.
- Completed forms and attached prints must be delivered by 1200 hrs, 27 Jun 2005 to:

Attention: Events Department - Results will be announced on 4 July 2005. All winners will be contacted via the contact information provided in the entry form.
- Prizes not collected by 31 July 2005 will be disqualified.
