Battery/ Memory card and Filters

Hi Guys, am currently using a dry box with silica gel..will be getting a dry cabi soon. Just want to ask if the abovementioned items supposed to be in dry cabi/box too? Will the silica gel somewhat damage the items?

Shd i take them out when i put my cam in the dry cabi/box? Shd i dettach the lens away from the body or it's alright to attached them together?

no, you don't need to put these into the dry box.

but if you want, it shouldn't be a problem.

for the camera and lens, doesn't matter.

Leave the battery and card in the camera. And keeping them in the dry box is good too as it prevent battery/card contacts from rusting.

Keep the filter in the plastic container and store them in dry cabinet too. But do clean and dry the filter after each use to prevent permanent marking on the glass and fungus within the container.

But it's ok to leave the filter attached to the lens right? Ok..i will leave the card and batt in the camera. I personally feel it's abit tedious to remove them each time i wanna put them in the dry box anyway. Thanks!

Yes. It is ok to leave everything mounted.
