You white balance is all over the place. so are the exposure, since you are shooting at one location, should locking the white balance and exposure by using custom WB and manual exposure mode
and the photo does not show the boy is enjoy himself at the playgound, more like a posed shot. shooting kids, don't have to always ask them look at the camera.
composition wise, nor far or near, placement of subject also nor here or there, kind of boring. if you can't shoot with prefer composition with active subjects, can always re-crop during the post.
