this thread is so quiet...any gooners around?? The liverpool one is so active.

here.

All the best to Arsenal for tonight's match against Huddersfield Town

Thats because their motto is 'YNWA'. Besides, with their recent mishaps, I guess they really have alot to discuss. :)

let's hope these bunch will emulate the glory of the legends.

arsenal 2 hudderfield 1.

an rather untidy victory... nvm, at least we get to the next round. more worrying is the injury to nasri i guess.

Tough fight...a real cup game. I almost thought we could not make it at some stages during the game. Well done to our boys . We are going to miss Nasri badly :(

it's a hamstring injury for Nasri. Hope it's not too serious.. we need him ...

Apparently its a hamstring injury so its a minimum 2 weeks. Meanwhile our other players need to step up and perform.

Nasri will be out for up to 3 weeks!
That sounds like eternity for me man!

let's hope he comes back to form real soon. Why do Arsenal players keep getting injured, sigh.... Do they even see Fengshui before moving to Ashburton.

yes most of our good players are injury prone.. bergkamp, pires, RVP, .....

Actually I feel that players like Denilson, Diaby, the rest are really good players, I feel that they really need time to bring out their best especially after their injuries. However, when there are about to reach their peak, they injured again. So when they come back to play, they became cautious and thus bringing their game down. Look at Theo, now that he is given a prolong time of play on the field, he shines (well, starts to shine). Let's pray hard that tonight's game there'll be no injury especially we are already into February and we need all our players back for the rest of the season, the schedule is scary when we are in all competitions.

Hmmm.. quite wasted to let Nordtveit go. I thought he had a good future at Arsenal.

Frimpong is another young player I rate highly and hope Arsenal would keep; hope his development is not affected too much by the serious injury.

Quite interesting how the big clubs are buying/selling established stars with crazy money, while we are busy sorting out our young players.

Wenger is really playing FM2011...lots of youngsters going out on loan for more experience. I foresee lots of competition for spots in the team in a few years.

Wenger is really more than just a manager, a shrewd businessman. A few things that he's doing right now will be beneficial to Arsenal and some mid table clubs in a few ways

1) All players will buck up and give their best for Arsenal as they are competitive.
2) There is a possibility that the prices of the players might come down as there are many good players in the market. Imagine so many players coming out year after year.
3) Arsenal financial will be very, very healthy in a few years to come.

Most importantly is that I hope my son (3 year old) will still able to see/support Arsenal in top flight after 10, 20, 30, 40 and many years to come. He's already a gooner!!!.

GOOOOO GUNNERS IAWT

We need a victory over everton tonight. Come in gunners!

Nacer Barazite (Signed for Austria Vienna on a free transfer)

Confirmed info, it's a pity, he had the potential. Wish him the best of luck of attaining stardom in Austria. ;p
