Anyone uses Adsense to advertise their business?

Wonder if anyone uses Adsense to advertise their business and does it bring in customers? Worth the money?

I'm not talking about using Adsense in you blog so you get paid when pple click on the ads. I'm talking about those ads being your ad for the business, that others will have on their website.

from what i learnt in ad class, its can potentially haemorrhage money from your company/business based on the pay-per-click model. you bid with google the amount youre willing to pay per click for that ad and assuming you win the bid, you take the 2nd highest bid amount as your pay-per-click charge. if someone happily spam clicks your link (bot or malicious human) with no corresponding sale or profit earned from the click, you still pay. and sometimes that amount can come up to a huge number.

Well, it's all about whether profits outweigh costs... that is the purpose of starting this thread... to find out if anyone has benefited from this program and would it be worth an investment or not.

How common is click spamming?

i saw Karsoon? Photography advertising on Facebook...

videographer fren does it on Facebook too...he spends about US$5 per day..gets 4-5 enquiries per month with at least 1 confirmed deal...
