Other than the trip itself, can organize a meet up for a shooting session like Cindy mentioned.
If ts isn't replying, with e responses in e thread, another member can suggest or plan e trip in ts stead.
Too bad I couldn't go for any trips due to my schedule but a meet up might be possible
E idea is to shoot more, sg or overseas comes later ^^

I will propose to meet up perhaps this weekend. Will have to get tickets soon if going in august. TS, sorry on hijacking ur thread.

i tink thats a good idea, since all are newbie down here mostly, maybe a more pro can lead us by organise a gathering for local shoot out ard spore b4 we really stick to overseas shoot...

I cant make it for e trip but if it's just casual shooting, Sunday would be e only day for me.
Since this is abt e trip, I guess e main focus would be landscape/street photography
So shd narrow down e type of shooting subjects for e gathering then choose a location, jus my opinion ^^

Hello, I'm a newbie also.

I just booked a trip via Jetstar to Ho Chi Minh for S$74 two-way ( Jetstar's Friday Frenzy ) for on Aug12-Aug15 (so I only need to take Fri and Mon leave). So anyone planning short getaway photo trip, i think this is a good deal. And if you happen to book the same date, let me know so I won't be backpacking alone. Haha.

I do agree it is a very last minute arrangement, however we really need to get started if we planned to hold it ard Aug - Sep.

The turn-out for tomoro may not be great but it is jus nice for the discussion.

Many ppl discussing = many ideas = can't get things done.

Will start a thread after tomoro discussion stating the trip date n loc for ppl interested
