anyone tried using canon a40 to take concert pics?

Dun have A40 but i had a S10 b4 (they r similiar if i am not wrong). I found the results for indoor shots were not good. u have SLR right? Should shoot film if possible.

but some places dun allow take pics, they check for camera leh...
SLR so big sure kenna stopped by security...
but if the A40 is small enough to put in pocket then can sneak in and take....
so just wanna know if anyone tried to use A40 to take concert pic...or similar setting.......

In most cases, end up with blur shots because of shutter lags and small aperture. A higher ISO won't help too much but bring lots of noise. No choice, the light condition like a concert is very challenging even for SLR and fast lenses.:dunno:

Meanwhile, color cast is another problem. Anyway, it's better to get some shots than nothing at all.

hmm..if i get good seats right in front, think dun need too high iso rite...
anyway the A40 seems to be quite good for normal use and for printing?
just wanna confirm the image quality of the camera b4 parting with my money..........
