I just viewed your photos in large size on your flickr, no problem with stability, the softness in some shots are caused by DOF issues and not shaking. Nice catch on the dragonfly, almost a perfect shot with the great lighting and composition, a little more DOF will keep the head area in focus

No need to jump ship lah. Canon is good, Nikon is equally good. Just use the one that you feel best suited to you and don't look back.
