An old TV show..anyone know the name?

Hello People..

was pondering on this...

Well, i watched this show in the early 90s i think...well..to sum it off..the first few episodes was about a "vigilante"(i think he is a Cop)...He got hold of this suit(white colour..looks like a starwars storm trooper suit..i think his gun was an UZI)... from some scientist and he was fighting crime..until a "badder" suit came about(black colour)...the episodes go on to him wearing an upgraded suit(black colour)..i totally forgot of the title..i wonder if anyone caught it at that time..
