Well just to share a short clip put together from clips taken with the Sony A55.
I had a chance this morning to take the Sony A55 (On Loan from Sony Australia for evaluation). I'm hoping to get one for my team as a back-up video capture device for the simplicity and compactness of this little camera.
The rolling shutter effect is quite obvious especially after Youtube uploading - probably due to the compression - made more obvious from the hand held shots. using a tripod would help to do a smoother panning.
All I can say ...with only the kit lens 18-55mm..one can get really very good video quality from what I can see so far.
