AMK Park Night Macro outing, 30 July 2010

Thanks to Ben (Peterpan) for organising this outing. It was our lucky night as the rain stopped just 2 hours before we start. All I can say is that, it was a great cooling night and loads of interesting captures.

Here's some of my humble and rusty shots to share. All C & Cs for improvements are welcome. Arigato!

My Setup:
Canon 7D
EF 100mm f/2.8 macro non-L, Raynox 250DCR
Built in flash + diffuser, 580EX II + diffuser
Handheld

My Settings:
W/B: Sunlight
Shutter: 1/50 ~ 1/80
Aperture: f/11 ~ f/25
ISO: 100 ~ 400

#1 My first Tiger Beer... Ermm... I mean, Beetle shot.

#2 Side profile.

#3 Lai Lai, close up for passport photo.

#4 Raymond spotted this pregnant lady jumping around... (Grass Horn spider)

#5 Hey, you this lecher! Why you anyhow shoot pregnant ladies again!

Yep, finally. Must Thanks to Ben, Raymond, Rick, Eric & David for spotting these beetles as I have night blindness so I have very bad eyesight at night.

Joe, glad your have shared with us your wonderful catch at AMK. David brought me to a spot to find the tiger 2 weeks ago but was not lucky. I need to go over to Ubin then could find one. Your cat look very nice.
