Advices pls... on getting 2nd hand Video/Data Projector

Hi,


I'm thinking of buying a portable 2nd hand video/data projector.
My usage will be maybe 1-2 times a month for 2-3 hrs each time.
It'll be mainly used for playing Videos & output from laptop for presentations.


I'm quite new to Video/Data Projectors.
- Any advices what should I look out when buying it.
- How to test the projector itself? For eg, like running it for 15 mins & check the colour & resolution,etc?
- Know of any places that sell 2nd hand projectors?


Seems to me one of the most important consideration is the lamp.
If the lamp is defective, it'll cost more than S$500 to replace it.
