Hi everyone, I'm going for a driving holiday in Italy this May. I have 7-10 days & need to head back to Genoa, Northwestern port of Italy.

I'm thinking of visiting Monte Carlo & the French Riviera then Spain but I've done the French Riviera few years ago and now thinking of heading East towards Slovenia, Croatia & Sarajevo. Or I could head north to Germany.

Lastly, I could spend the whole week touring Italy but I've done most part of the central-east down to Rome.

For those who have been to Slovenia etc, how are those places like? Eg. security, language & condition of roads? Places to visit?

Thanks in advance.

slovenia is very nice and neat and everything pretty much perfectly maintained (unlike say bosnia)..but if u are in Genova there is so much to see before reaching Slovenia :)

Sorry to revive a months old thread.

Would the owner share with us the findings?

I plan to driving from Germany to Italy, maybe to Switzerland also this October. Appreciate your advice!
