About NSC

My D90 + Sigma 17-70mm is showing potential off focus issue.
Should i send the body or lens (or both) for calibration ?

Anyone know how long it will takes NSC for the calibration ?

why don't you call Nikon WILL they do the calibration of this combination for you first?

If you try a Nikkor and it's ok, then you should send them to Sigma. It is quite common for Sigma lenses to have front/back focus issues. Call up the Sigma service centre and make an appointment to have your lens calibrated.

Just check with NSC, will takes 2 weeks. :sweat:
Sigma wise, have to make appointment.

Yeah,
the problem seems to be which one (lens or body) to send in for the calibration.
i dont think its wise to "force calibrate" the body to the lens,
then i may have problem with other nikon lens in future.

Problem is, i just sold all my Nikon lens
Have to rent one i guess.
Any idea which lens is most suitable to do the calibration on... 50mm prime ?
