A simple D800 video - Dragonfly Dreams

Hello All,

I know there are many D800 threat popping up about it's image capturing capabilities and while I do absolutely love all of the new features, I also love that fact that Nikon finally stepped up in the game of HD video. Now I'm sure many have your opinions but I just wanted to share a simple video I made this weekend while playing around with the camera.

Video was captured on a D800, Tamron SP90mm f2.8 macro lens. Slapped all together with Windows Movie Maker. Song is called Diamond - Triangle Sun. I called this clip Dragonfly Dreams because the bokeh and sharpness of the D800 and this macro lens is insane!

If you have a better storyboard, this might actually be nice... Good first effort though..

Thanks for the suggestion Daredevil123. Yeah actually my intend wasn't originally to make a video/movie out of this. I really new to HDSLR so it was more about getting to know the tool. There are tons of techniques that I'm sure I'm going to need to pick up to make anything good. But thanks for the feedback!

No problem. In the end, beyond techniques and technical know-how, you need to have a good story and a good flow. Hope to see more from you in the future.
