the rules & regulations did not indicate that photos must be taken in s'pore. it would be limiting if it is so, IMHO.

I think not compulsory but exists as an option.

I have a question. Does it mean that the set of 4 pictures must be from the same theme?

U have to choose 4 out of the 8 themes given to form a set of 4, ie, Sports, Digital Imaging, Nature, Night Scene to form a set. u can repeat the themes as many time as u want.

if u submit 4 photos of same theme, u will be rejected by the organising committee. they will call you to inform you if you want to change your photos.

Doesn't have to be Epson print, it's just that Epson is offerring their service for photographers who wish to take part in the competition with a good rate for everyone to submit MORE sets to have more chance of winning. They are part of the prize sponsors mah...

photos can be taken from anywhere...
