5D Mk II: Black Dots in Video Too

It looks like the black dots appear on videos too:-

It's not certain if this is the same phenomena as the "black spots". Some think it's the "black sun" effect. In either case, it's not pretty!

I hope Canon comes up with a solution soon. The MkII is really great value compared to what the competitors offer in a FF. Just need them to get these issues fixed pronto.

Did some more research and found this useful article:-

Could this be due to sensor in over saturated region due to the bright lights?

Quick question about this black dot stuff. Does it show up within "sane" ISO ranges (e.g., 100~3200)?

Not sure about video but for photos, I have seen them in samples from ISO200. In ISO50, they are definitely not there. Have not seen ISO100 samples but I am guessing shd be quite safe.
