Want to buya 550EX ( in the Buy and Sell also ). I got a quote from a shop that a new on is S$600. Instincts tells me this is too high.

Please let me know the street price for a new one - grey or otherwise. Thanks

I am not using dslr so all the special functions on the 580EX will serve my purpose. Anyone experienced exposure inconsistancy when in E-TTL mode?

550Ex is not in production, so the price is a little higher than before, if ur budget is not tight, buy a 580Ex, otherwise buy a Sigma 500 DG Super

the 550ex isnt listed in canon singapore's site anymore.

I have heard the news in many forums about 2 months ago. Then I found it was out of stock in many stores and the price is raised.
To evenstar: I quoted in CP in March, price is 585 w/o GST. I think 550EX will fade out and price of 580Ex will become lower.

quite a few people selling 550EX on B&S. Maybe can consider getting a used one. typically going for $400-$450 depending on condition
