Video was shot using a S$1400 Panasonic NV-GS75 3CCD video cam (rented) in manual mode. Left my own S$600 1CCD video cameras at home. ;p

Manual settings
============

On 17 Dec 2006 Sunday from 8.30 AM to 12.30 PM SGT at Sentosa Singapore, sky is cloudy and there's intermittent rain.

Open air:

Aperture range: F2.4 to F3.4
Shutter speed: 1/250 secs

Under pavilion dark shade:

Aperture range: F2.4 to F2.8
Shutter speed: 1/50 secs

Gain was set to Zero Decibel under all conditions. Generally a higher gain is used for low light conditions (not applicable there), but higher gain may cause grainy video appearance.

interesting.
you could probably run some deinterlacing filters and have it interpolate the remaining fields to make up the resolution.
or, if whatever camera youre using can support it, shoot progressive, which gives full frame instead of interlacing fields.
