I learnt from Master Photographer Ian Lloyd from the workshop he did with us... not neccessary orchid garden should use a macro lens...there are many other things you can shoot.

Hi Techmage, is there anyway to share some tips of the day from Ian Lloyd?

I can talk about some things i learn from Mr Lloyd in the next CanonGraphers meeting at the Digital Lab, probably in July I hope.

I'll be at the MOG shoot with a big lens i borrowed for you guys to try out. So the last thing I want is to come back to office to do a studio shoot. Actually we could still go ahead with MOG even if it rains but hang around somewhere and wait for the rain to stop like what we did at SBG. OK one of the ideas Mr Lloyd mentioned "one of the best time to shoot is just after rain." I could share some ideas what he talked about in the workshop if you remind me on Sat.

Please don't think that you can only shoot Orchids or Macro at MOG.
