24-70 f2.8L enough for landscape?

Currently have 24-70 f2.8L. Was wondering shld I get Canon EF 17-40mm f/4.0 L bcoz i will be shooting indoor architectual and outdoor building landscape. Doesnt seem that needed isnt it?

you may want to consider the 24 3.5L shift/tilt lens.

the wide zooms.... dun cut the slack.

the shift/tilt lens is for making lines straight rite?

wat u mean by dont cut the slack
I using 10D btw
 

any tips for taking good landscape pics? Esp for nite shoot?
