Not all couples want the economic or "cheapo" photographer option if they can get a good bargain on a reasonably competent photographer who will not screw up their wedding photographs on their Actual Day cum dinner/reception photoshoot. Always hire someone with experience and not try a newbie, if you do not want to have only 2 reasonable good shots of the entire reception. That was what happenned to a schoolmate of mine years ago. Told him he should have called me. He was just being penny-wise and pound-foolish.
