Hi Sinned79, the Everest Panorama trek is one of the easiest climbs within the Everest region. We basically only trek 5 days out of the 10 day program. And of the 5 days, only the ascent up to Namche Bazaar is considered steep (2-3 hrs), the rest are pretty gradual walks. We have had 60-70 yr olds participating on this tour and have not had any issues. We also have an aclimatization day at Namche so we do not expect any issues with AMS either. If you are carrying heavy camera equipment, we recommend you hire an additional porter to help you with the equipment. You only carry your day pack as your luggage is usually carried by the porters assigned.

That said, we usually recommend a trip to your doctor first to undergo a routine check up and the green light to trek to such altitudes if you are concerned about your own health and stamina. We also recommend our participants condition themselves by undertaking weekly jogs (twice a week x 2km) at least 2-3 mths prior to departure. :)
