SOS is organising a photography contest and exhibition entitled “Life’s Caring Moments” as part of the Suicide Awareness Week 2009. The event aims to raise awareness of suicide and remind the community of how a moment of empathy, understanding and care can make a world of difference to the people around us.
The top three winners in each category (professional and amateur) stand to win attractive cash prizes. Winning photographs as well as selected entries will be exhibited at VivoCity Level 1 (South Avenue), during the Suicide Awareness Week from 7 to 13 September 2009, and photographers will be acknowledged during the exhibition.
