Thanks for the reply. I checked out the current portrait settings on the 450D, and apparently the only difference from the "standard" setting is that portrait is just a reduction in sharpness value. "Standard" being 3, "Portrait" being 2. Contrast and saturation remains at zero. Is this suppose...

Thanks for the reply. Any idea how the setting work? Like for example once you set it to portraits its for portraits and that it is not affected by extra lighting or whatever external factors? Is settings basically a set of colours/contrast/sharpness calibrated specifically for that shoot?
