    Morning Rush

I suppose you did not have a tripod with you since you were going to school. I feel that a longer shutter speed (10s maybe?) would capture longer light trails, creating a better effect.

    DSLR Question

Erm...because you are not a Pro? In fact, you proclaim yourself to be a noob. (which is nothing wrong actually) But anyway, go out and shoot more. :bsmilie: If you get the "best" camera, yet fail to utilize its full potential, its still no better than a P&S. And to answer your first...

    DSLR Question

After reading all 5 pages of this thread with much interest, all I can say is TS really needs to stop, calm down, and read through everything written here carefully. I daresay there are many constructive comments given by forumers. And bear in mind that most (if not all of them) are much more...

Erm, if you are thinking of shipping it back...hmm.....:dunno: First thing is the weight. Second is the fragility of the item.

New in clubsnap, greenhorn in camera

If you have a budget in mind, then work within it. I initially started out with a prosumer. A Fuji S5700. Got it for around 200+ bucks. Used it for a year, understood all the basics, and then finally went onto DSLR. And when you buy a DSLR, always remember that you are buying into a system...

    Using Lock&Lock as DryCabinet?!

I was once a user of a airtight box + silica gel + hydrometer for about 6 months, until i decided to change to a E26D Dry cabinet. Reason was it was almost impossible to maintain the RH @ 40-50%. It always drops to around 35%. Thirsty hippo just sucks too much moisture (20%+) In the end, it...

    A200 vs A300

Wouldn't that result in a under-exposed photo? :think:Since you are adjusting the EV downwards. Unless without EV adjustments the photo is slightly over-exposed. What does the histogram say?

LOWEPRO Bags Price Lists (Singapore) 2009

Another one bites the dust. There is a reason why people warn you. And it fell on deaf ears. Next time just get an e-quote from the usual reputable stores before buying. At least that will give you a benchmark price.

    Bringing camera overseas.

Qn 1. Yes. Put everything in. I just put it in my camera bag and pass the whole thing through. It will not damage the camera. Besides, you don't really have a choice do you? :) Qn 2. No. Unless you exceed your carry-on allowance (I'm assuming you are not planning to check it in. Please don't!)...

Recommend a affordable swivel flash for A300?

I got mine at MS color. Look for florence. Price wise it was about the same. See which is nearer for you. I'm using the 42. It's a decent flash. Oh and if you decide to get from CP, please ask for an e-quote. In fact, just ask for e-quote from both MS and CP. :bsmilie:
