    mate, you are lucky to even have iso 5000 in your machine. i only had 1600 in my machine, 1/160 at 2.8 and gotta make do with that. if you shot RAW, you shouldn't have any issues, apart from the possibility that AF would suffer due to the *bleah* lighting conditions....

    would appreciate it if you could take off these kinds of shots that shouldn't be shown.... it doesn't do you justice to let people think you are going too easy on quality - or worse still, picking to post out of focus photos on purpose. i am sharing because i did it before.

    one simple suggestion. bump up your ISO. my personal experience is at least ISO800, and that's from a 6+ year old DSLR. If you're using anything from the new generation, use it. otherwise your other shots will suffer from motion blur especially when you least expect it at such a slow shutter speed.

    your best advantage is that people are being their true selves - no sense of pretence in any form - as you are in front of them. this means you can set people at ease - this is a gift for a photographer. you have another physics Professor in sajc who is occasionally in these forums too!

    i've been waiting to see such photos all along - how on earth are people gonna be hoodwinked that sacrifices were gonna be bloodless? too bad, National Press has its own set of guidelines. however, i'm curious - "Abraham Faith" is the name?... I don't know much about religions and beliefs...
