I don't think it is the nature of self-charge. lipo battery self-discharge should less than 10 % per month. It is half gone within a week.

Anyone noticed if their A6000 will drain the battery even when it is off ? Any remedy ?

That piece of plastic probably cost US$1, or lesser. But, if they can sell 1 million nex6, that a 1 million bucks saved. Simple as well.

Cost cutting. Everyone is doing that. Not just Sony. I recall my Nex-7 kit came with lens cap and body cap for the lens and body. And it actually come with a battery charger. Now, you don't get any of those, and the "battery charger" is now a USB power adapter with a pretty low rating.

I am using Hoya HD now. After breaking the B&W XS-Pro. I am tested the cheaper one in the past but it seem to cause a bit of "ghosting" and reflection when taking night shots.

What do you means by "Auto Level" ? Does it have auto ISO ? I noticed that it doesn't have Level Gauge which I find it useful at times. Overall, do you think it make sense for a change from Nex-7 to a6000 ?

Hi, Just like to share my experience on lens and sensor cleaning in Sony Service Center. No charges for the lens which is under warranty. But a $32 charge for cleaning the sensor of a Nex-7 which the warranty just expired. :) Cleaning just took 2 days. Some minor problem in paperwork...

For folks whom got their camera, mind if you can check if it come with Level Gauge ? That seems to be the feature missing from a6000 that is found in Nex-7 / Nex-6 and the A7.
