Hi benwal, Apart from the other advice already given here, I would suggest you forgo the Nikonos system. Yes it looks retro and cool but your learning curve will be a lot smaller and better if you get a digital PnS with a suitable housing. Keep film for for the surface, digital is the way...

More shots For the last shot, I was shooting the yellow ribbon eel in it's hole when a sea snake appeared. It must have scared the ribbon eel silly coz it exited it's hole and just like a fluttering ribbon, swam away for dear life.

I am afraid not...the last time I saw the long haired hairy frogfish was in 2008, the photo below, taken at one of the TK dive sites if I recall correctly. I've also been told that there are "no more" Rhinopias in Lembeh, which is friggin' depressing.

I mainly used a nikkor 70-200mm f2.8 with 2x tele convertor. I also brought with me a 17-24mm, a 50mm and a 60mm macro. All nikkor.

Oh Deer! I think the bear was hiding behind this sign when people shot at it..hence the bullet riddled sign. A seatfull of flowers.. The RV..the most economical way to see Alaska for a party of six. Picture of me taken by the wifey.
