Free "Intro to Food Photography" Talk

Update Ok, Mr. Yim prefers smaller groups, and he's good with the idea of putting 2 dates. Due to logistical problems, Mr. Yim prefers not to concentrate on food photography (get and set up projector etc etc). Instead, he's thinking about a more general talk about photography in general...

    Stock Photography

    35mm film compacts

Yashica T4/T5, Olympus mju I/II comes to mind. My T4 is approaching 8 years old, is partially disfigured, but still going strong. However, probably as rare as the recent Natura :P When I see T4/T5s on Clubsnap buy and sell, the sets invariably command a premium - ie no cheaper than what I paid...

    Hows Olympus E-1

I don't appreciate your suggestion that Olympus is not for me. That especially when I have migrated from a Canon system to my current Olympus system. Ooops. ;) (now I carry less lenses, less weight, do zero dust-spotting, and have colours I like out of the camera) Seriously, any film at...

start with whatever you have and can afford. d70 + kit lens + SB600 no problemo. d50 + kit lens + SB16 also no problemo. as long as the event orgs are happy with your pics.

    Ordering E1 from Cameta USA

anyway Michael68, you have got me interested in ordering from Cameta as well, somehow! https://www.vpost.com.sg/vConcierge05/vcon_index.htm I think Vconcierge might be a way to go to order stuff from Cameta. At $10 + 2% of invoice for the service fee. Not too sure about money orders made in...

Thanks for the comparisons!! :) the ISO 1600 samples look quite close. still overall i think the E1 ISO 1600 looks better than the E300 ISO 1600.

    Ordering E1 from Cameta USA

i have made purchases once via vpost. essentially the packaging is what it is from the original shipper (the online vendor you bought the stuff from). ie no more additional packaging from vpost. so if the original packing is not good to begin with, what more with an additional round of...
