well, I've been trying to get something like dat organized but with little success. If you're interested, then that makes 2 of us...I think we might have a plan!

How 'bout dunking a person next?

I dun have a clue how much it would cost to get models for this shoot, but I do know of a friend (who's not a model) that's interested to be the dunkee. I'm thinking of a ballpark figure of $80 to $100 per person; if we get around 10 shooters, should be just enough to cover all costs.

Actually, I already have an arrangement with a venue that's secluded, yet has a dunk tank for rent so it should be ideal for a photoshoot! (will only disclose the location to those signed-up) So that's settled for venue, next we need "dunkees". Maybe we should start the ball rolling by...

Well, rental of the machine does cost money, but not that expensive! If there are enough people interested, we can easily split the cost of the rental fee. Next would be the important question, who will we dunk? :o know any model willing to take the plunge over and over again? Or do we get a few...

I've got a pic here pulled off Flickr just as an example... For those interested, I guess we can discuss and get something going when we've got enuff people...I've got some ideas already :)

Oh, maybe I was too vague with my first post. Yes, we'll dunk models but in a controlled environment, as in we'll control when "the dunk" will happen, unlike at carnivals where it's all random.

Just wondering if anyone here might be interested in a dunk tank (or dunking machine) shoot? I know this has always been a big draw to photographers at funfairs or carnivals,so why not have our own? I'm new at photography and very new at organising photography outings/events so I'm open to...

"arranging something" meaning a dunk tank photoshoot session? :bigeyes: Please keep us informed! ;p Anyway, I did some checking around... and found out a local events company that does rent out a dunktank with a large clear window in the front:D but it might not be very cost effective to rent...

Can rent a dunk tank from those events companies that provide for funfairs and carnivals...but must rent from one that has a tank with a transparent front! Anyone here working in the events line? or how 'bout a shot in the dark here...anyone here owns a dunk tank ;)
