    Using DSLR as light meter

As a newbie, I would recommend the free Light Meter apps on iPhone and Android. Been getting rather accurate results just needing a bit of overexposure with my iPod touch 5 and Polaroid 110 convert using Fp-3000B!

    So you want to LF...

So I am trying to master Medium Format with Fuji FP instant peel apart and kenna poison by Large Format while learning more about MF and sheet film.. KNN next time must tag along LF / MF outing to witness myself. ;p

Is there much of a difference between peel apart instant film and normal sheet film?

Oh yes, please do bear in mind I'm still studying and thus am operating with, essentially, a zero-dollar budget. Not particularly rich or poor but so long it's not in the hundreds of dollars and costs can be split over some time I will be able to piece together my gear or build them myself -...

Is there much of a difference between peel apart instant film and normal sheet film?

SGD 1 per sheet including shipping? Price sounds pretty appealing to me.. Do you do development yourself or send it off? As for film holders any idea where to get or maybe instructions somewhere to make a simple, light-tight one? Forgive me for asking a bit but I am pretty interested in...

Is there much of a difference between peel apart instant film and normal sheet film?

So I heard.. Anyway, I shot a bit of FP-3000b yesterday. When I get around to it I will replicate the shots with Tri-X and other b&w films to compare. :)

Is there much of a difference between peel apart instant film and normal sheet film?

I did not know FP-3000b cannot be bleached.. And I appreciate the info. But part of shooting Impossible is it's unpredictability early on; incorrect color balance and unpredictability would be a plus for me. :) The best part about film is one can get to choose the type of film to use; if solid...

Is there much of a difference between peel apart instant film and normal sheet film?

I will! And there are 4x5 slides?! My whole idea of film and slide photography has just gotten so much sweeter.. As long as it's cheaper than my occasional pack of Impossible film or Polaroid Time Zero per piece, I don't really mind because of the resolution. :bsmilie: Too bad 4x5 FP is...

Ten Reasons Why I Love Film.

Awesome reasons! Next time some of my digital-wielding friends who dangle their fully auto cameras that actual value can be very well under our mechanical babes, I have one more strong comeback. This thread! Thanks, ray ;)

Is there much of a difference between peel apart instant film and normal sheet film?

I know about reciprocity failure, read about it before but did not know FP films fail quickly. I did a pinhole out of my 110 before I got a lens with FP-100C; completely dark except for some lights and it was ok. 16 minutes.. but I guess by that you meant sheet films are better in that regard...

Is there much of a difference between peel apart instant film and normal sheet film?

Just curious, as peel apart like FP-3000b, FP-100c seem to be just as good as their sheet film equivalents in size (and price if get good deal?) and yet people seem to prefer one over another. Fuji FP's image doesn't have to pass through dyes like original Polaroid, Impossible integral and...

    Polaroid 600

It won't work, as the camera will spit out the pic immediately once you take it. Even if you manage to bypass that, the FP-100C, FP-3000B etc are actually 3x4 instant film that's peel apart. The negative once taken needs to be flipped to face the positive, and you need to roll it through rollers...

Fuji Film Instax Camera Singapore Fans Club, Season Two

Hope you're not insinuating that POLAROID cameras are not for instantaneous fun and joy. If you are i'll like to point you towards the 'Meet The Swinger' commercial for a 1965 Polaroid camera costing only US$19.95. Cute and portable too. Far more so in the 60s. http://youtu.be/h7k2uwJmwxo...

Fuji Film Instax Camera Singapore Fans Club, Season Two

That's right, they can't. But it would make far better business sense to call Instax Polaroid as that's what everybody refers to them by. Tell a random stranger what an 'Instax' is, especially one from another country apart from Japan and they'll go '...what?'. Polaroid was the one who invented...

Fuji Film Instax Camera Singapore Fans Club, Season Two

Anyone here got 500af? also check out Polaroid SX-70 which Fuji copied (horribly) with their instax.. That's why fujifilm don't call Instax 'polaroids' - not that they don't want to but even if they do they cannot! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5jaiq_ZZ_eM It's a folding.. SLR.. from 1972...
