Sorry if it wasn't clear. My answer was with the assumption that you already know about D7000 and D7100 as it has been mentioned by someone else. Anyway, Rhino123 already answered your question :-).

Answering for #1; if you also consider the discontinued model: D90, D300s, D300. All DX with live-view and in-body AF motor.

    B/W documentary: Jurong Fishery Port

I've been thinking of going there, but has very minimum info about the place. Is it open to public? Can I just go there and take photos or do I need a special permit? Thanks!

    Every picture tells a story

It took me awhile to notice that the batman masks are added-in (yeah, I'm not that smart haha). May I know why?

    Twelve inches behind the camera

Viewer should be able to make their own interpretation of the photo. Even if you need to "drive" the viewer interpretation, I think a title or caption...

Best photo software for pp and editing.

I'm stingy, so I only use freeware. Below is my two cents (can't give you more because I'm cheapskate ;) ): Photoscape and Picasa for basic post-processing. Good for starter. Easy to use. GIMP for more advance post-processing, capable to work with layers, steep(er) learning curve. Poor men's...
