Hi Chris, How's things? Sold your, your daughter's, lens yet. Canon called and it will cost me 267 to repair. In the mean time I have Jumped to a FF 5dmk2. FF is great but just not as "fun" without the 6.5 to 6.3fps. Even my daughter notice it.
