hi fellow GF1er, myself also just got a GF1. prob not takin enuf pics so batt life still quite ok.
there are many 3rd party batt for GF1 on ebay etc but read some horror stories. wonder how much an original batt will cost, any idea?

Well I am leaning towards a GF1 as GF2 seems too compact to hold lol!
Yes, GF1 is an old discontinued model so have to buy lens separate. I wonder if just having the 14-45 good enough? The pancake seems better as it stores away neat. Not sure how the features of both lens...
@luckyorange: I am using a Coolpix p500 and looking to get a 2nd hand GF1 or 2. I like the feel of a traditional body of the GF and the fact can interchange lens (more options). I hope to learn more as I progress....
